Napi gyakorlatA daily practice
Nem a stressz tűnt el. Én állok hozzá máshogy. The stress hasn’t gone away. I just approach it differently.
I meditate every day. Some days that means twenty minutes in the morning and twenty in the evening; on others I spend two, three or four hours in meditation — at dawn before the city wakes up, in the evening instead of binge-watching a series, or on longer retreats.
For years I kept putting off starting properly. At first it was hard — genuinely painful and stressful — but I was even more fed up with the life I had been living, and that was what kept me going. Then, very slowly and almost without my noticing, a turning point came. After it, meditation was no longer something I “had to” get done; it was something I “wanted” to do. At first that turned into a small miracle: I had an inner world all of my own. Then I realised that this inner world is the real one, and what lies outside is the illusion.
The practice does not quieten the world; it quietens me. The same deadlines, the same interactions — they just don’t drag me along as much. The moment between what happens and how I respond has slowed down, and in that moment I have a choice.
This is what I pass on in my trainings. Not from theory: I show you the techniques I use myself. I switch between them too, depending on the phase I’m in and how I feel — and you can find the one that suits you best.
